What We Do
Since 1978, we have championed better health in Southern Indiana by investing in healthcare and wellness initiatives that improve lives and strengthen our community.
Founded in 1978 to raise funds for the Floyd Memorial Hospital (now Baptist Health Floyd), Southern Indiana Health Foundation has evolved alongside the needs of our community.
Today, the Foundation is a prevention-focused 501(c)(3) nonprofit investing in programs that strengthen children, families, and communities across Southern Indiana — before crisis occurs. As stewards of community resources, we’ve sharpened our focus where the need — and opportunity for impact — is greatest: mental health.
We support prevention, education, and access to care through strategic partnerships addressing substance abuse, trauma recovery, suicide prevention, family services, and more.
